Striking back at the Conservative Party's own attack ads, which were launched earlier this week, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff Friday morning announced a new round of ads attacking Stephen Harper.
Two ads — one focused on corporate tax cuts, the other on the controversial fighter jet purchase — both end with the question: "Is this your Canada? Or Harper's?"
"This morning, Liberals hit back — the way you'd want us to," Ignatieff posted to his official Twitter page on Friday.
The Liberal ads are only 15 seconds long — half the length of the average Conservative ad — and feature the prime minister superimposed on a fighter jet, and standing in a rain of dollar signs.
"While Stephen Harper attacks people, the Liberal Party attacks problems," the website reads.
