I recently watched an HBO special on the Washington and Pittsburgh NHL teams. Called 24/7 it could also be called F-Bomb 24/7.

Never have I seen anything like this. While it is most definitely compelling to watch two such great teams, especially during such opposite on-ice dynamics, the sheer over-use of the F-Bomb is distracting to the point of turning it off.
It was almost comical to watch Bruce Boudreau literally use the F-Bomb every second word; in the dressing room, on the bench, on the airplane, in the GM's office. It became a joke when every second player dropped the word as they celebratorily walked into their dressing room after ending an 8 game losing skid. During that walk, in Ottawa, every second player screamed f-this and f-that, in front of the fans, including kids.
Not a prude by any stretch of imagination, I've dropped more than my share of F-Bombs. But my god, have we all become so used to this word that we need to use it is such a manner?
Some will tell you it's just a word. Others will dismiss the over-use of the F-Bomb. Still others will cringe with its every utterance.
Have we become insensitive to the thoughts and feelings of others when we cavalierly drop that word?
Personally I don't like the over-use of the word. I find it offensive when dropped too frequently. When used with discrimination it sure packs a wallop into a sentence.
Used otherwise it leaves a much different impression on people.
Thoughts?
