So... discussions seem to have gotten more lively on the freep site now that they have implemented thumbs up and down.

Seems kinda arbitrary eh? I suspect if they think the topic is too controversial they don't bother. I guess their editors don't have time to moderate "all those comments". The CBC website is the same.
