Browsing CS' blog, she asked about a toboggan run (not sure where that one is).
To answer her question...YES, it's for tobogganing on "flat land"...but it's also not bad...as you don't have to walk back up the mountain to take another run .
So, my question is, are there any EXCELLENT runs? Runs which stand out from others as being worth an extra few minutes driving there?
I've been to the two at Kildonan (not bad), and went to the one setup for Festival du Voyageur.
Also...what about sledding?
The big problem I've found with the toboggan runs, you can't use just "any" sled...some of them are too wide to fit nicely down the chute.
I've been to "garbage hill", and there's a little hill out in West K that's good for the under-3 crowd.
Any suggestions?
I know it's only October...and there's no snow on the ground yet...but I figured I'd ask while it's on my mind...or I might forget to ask again till May (though I may still be able to get a couple runs in then too ).
