Is it just me or has anyone noticed the proliferation of media coverage that always includes, on a regular basis, pics of the WPS tactical team, surrounding a house, entering a property, or some other thing. Many cops, heavily armed, with the caption often indicating that nothing was found, the suspect had fled, mistaken identity, etc.
Its just the impression I get, but it seems to me that the WPS are reacting with a big stick on a regular basis. I'm not saying that anyone should put themselves in harms way, or that a show of force is an effective way to mitigate what could be a volatile situation, but it just seems to happen a lot. I wonder what the stats are like, or is it just a perception from overexposure by the media?
