bidding is open for the contract now... among other things you must supply

Each individual or Contractor proposed to perform Work under the Contract at Winnipeg Police
Service facilities shall provide:
(a) A list of names (including maiden names), addresses, dates of birth and telephone numbers
of all immediate family members including stepbrothers, stepsisters, half-brothers and halfsisters,
and their spouses, common-law spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends and their family
members.

(b) A list of names, addresses, dates of birth and telephone numbers of four closest friends.
Include information indicating when, where and how they met.

The helicopter will be available to fly five (5) days per week, twenty (20) hours per day, with the exception of predetermined major maintenance work. It is expected that the helicopter will fly approximately 1000 flight hours per year.

ooo wait I get it.

well gee members of council we only budgeted for 1000 flight hours per year, as you can see in the last two years we have greatly exceeded that number and in many cases the helicopter was unavailable for use due to maintenance and this caused the potential for problems ( or if they have a concrete example they will throw that in there) we humbly demand err I mean request a second helicopter....

That is a very invasive screening of candidates. It would certainly put a huge damper on my back yard meth still.

it's actually a standard screening for anyone involved in police or dispatch.

Anyone working as an officer or dispatcher for the RCMP goes through the same process every 5 years.
