I had 5 or 6 bags of scrap wood, left overs , cut offs from my making frames and I posted that and within 1/2 hour a guy showed up and took them.
I used to burn these in my fireplace all winter long, but my new house has no fireplace, so i do not want to lug them home.
If anyone on the forum has a fireplace and can use dry frame stock , birch usually, let me know and I will get 1/2 dozen bags , as we accumulate , and then get you to pick them up from my workplace at 803 Erin street.
You will love this stuff to start your fires as the wood is completely kiln dried and starts beautifully. I used to use this stuff, but when I had Wellington Crescent "type" guests (such as DeanK) over I would use the real birch so they wouldn't besmirch my use of birch!
