Half Moon is pretty good.
I've been going to Sweet Tops on Henderson Hwy by Sobeys for the last year now. Pretty good assortment of hard ice cream flavors.
Also, there's a place in E.K./Elmwood called Sub Zero ( on Brazier ) that has some great parfaits.

My wife likes BDI (made sure I went there when I first came here)
Personally, most ice cream shops seem WAY over-priced anymore.
They are supposed to be a place to go for a treat...but at $6+/order...it's a $20+ order for a family of 3.

The Tim Horton's on North Main now has ice cream, called Cold Stone Creamery (or something along that line) Really good ice cream, you can make your own variety by mixing add ins to the ice cream like fudge pieces, oreo cookie, etc. Yes it is expensive but as a treat for us it is worth it. We also like to go to the ice cream place right next door to that Tim's for just regular ice cream especially when we have our grand daughter.

Just to clarify, at that particular Tim's location, please tell me you cannot order Ice cream in the drive through lane. I couldn't even begin to imagine such a line up.

Marble Slab on Corydon is ridiculously good....but even more ridiculously expensive. At least they have a buy 6 get 1 free card...but at $5-6 a cone your not saving much lol.
