I listened to parts of the game and it sure sounded like it was a great, exciting, entertaining game!
Good for the Bombers, with a competent quarterback!

Offensive line needs some work I thought.

Whenever I focused on the line action, it appeared that the left tackle almost always lost the fight with the defensive tackle.

"Supposedly" Hamilton has the best linebacker corp in the CFL. They had quite the rush going most of the game. The Bombers started two Americans on the corners of the O-line. Perhaps it was a matter of adjusting to the Canadian game? I thought the O-Line did very well given the results. But I was not paying much attention to it.

That was a position that I played so, perhaps I was overly critical and watched it too closely.

Afterall, they did kick ass and beat the Cats by a goodly score!!!

It certainly was a good game.
And in at least one respect we're way ahead of last year. After our first game of 09, our star receiver (Armstrong) had to be held back from punching out our head "coach".
No problems like that this year.

Heh...I needed to run to Home Depot to get some things for some reno-work I'm doing.

COMPLETELY forgot there was a home game going on...but that just happened to be the time I went to the store on Empress.

Stadium was still filling up when I arrived at Home Depot...by the time I left, the game was underway.
Went down the street to WalMart and could hear the cheering from the parking lot as Winnipeg scored.

Can't wait for the new stadium...so it stops congesting my shopping area Wink.

i know you're being facetious...but i'll bite Wink.

Yes...shopping congestion will increase...but not by 26,000 people during a 2-3 hour period every week.

About the only time it will be a problem will be late November-December...but I don't go down there during that time anyway.

Personally I think that area has too much shopping as it is. The roads can not handle more regular traffic and any more growth in the area should be stopped until the developer pays for road upgrades.. which of course wont happen, but would be nice.

The roads are bad there.
The intersections are bad there.
The curb cuts are bad there (Too many exits and entrances).

Time to turn St. James into a one way and Empress the other way?
