Were they not the ones earlier this year that were saying they were so low on food they only had enough for 3 days?

So now Northcott wants to start a school to train fork lift operators eh.

I think they already do it, they just want to be able to do more of it.

Seems odd though, if they are only increasing wharehouse space by 30% AND they are frequently low on food.... how exactly does the need for more forklift operators come into play?

Is there a shortage of trained forlift operators? Is the demand expected to increase? But really, this is just a make work project. Why not train people to do the jobs that really need to be done? Oh yeah, that might require effort on the part of those organizing the program and those taking it.

Too many solutions are just doing whats easy, not necessarily whats right.

actually YES forklift operators can easily find a job once trained.

that is of course if they are dependable.

Is Harvest going to teach them dependability too?

I really doubt that. One has to wonder why its gotten so bad they are at Winnipeg Harvest for training.

I wonder if it works this way.

A guy has to work, drive their forklift, to be able to get free food.

They now 'train' forklift operators so they can apply for more government money.
