The place was jam-packed and a tad too hot. Thank God for the fans and dry ice.

I was surprised to hear how much of a powerful rock vocalist Fred Turner still is.

The newer material didn't go over so well for me, but the classic rock tunes had the room on fire.

Bachman and Turner shared the stage with a second guitarist, a second bass player and a drummer. The three other musicians sang backing vocals while Bachman and Turner alternated on lead vocals on every other song.

Songs played included:
Let It Ride
Blue Collar
Rock n' Roll is the Only Way Out (new song)
Hey You
Lookin' Out For #1
Not Fragile
Four Wheel Drive
Stayed Awake All Night/ American Woman
Hold Back The Water
Rock Is My Life
Sledgehammer
Roll On Down The Highway
You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet
Takin' Care of Business
Take It Like A Man

Howard Mandshein introduced the band and stood by the entrance at the end of the show to shake hands with fans and friends. Spotted in the crowd, Fred Penner and Hugh McFadyen.

The crowd sang along when they weren't hootin' and hollering, and overall, it was a fun time.
