I guess I was not in Canada when this heinous crime happened....what I wonder is why are these girls not being charged as adults? Women/girls should not be handled with care in terms of sentencing because of their gender. Their lack of remorse and callous disregard for their victim demonstrates an innate viciousness that two years of incarceration in a youth facility is not gonna remove. If anything their creds will be admired because they are murderers......

I'd like to see their parents charged - with something - damnit. That one made me sick. My mother-in-law lives one block from this crime scene and to this day - we don't allow her to take the kids outside when they're staying there for a few hours or overnight. That west-end area is now comprised of two types of home's - widow's that are mostly shut in peeking out the windows and similar looking houses which have broken or no windows and people sitting on the steps drinking beer day and night. It's bloody disgusting.

heh... I watched the whole movie... and then again watched it sometime last year in decemberish. Even though it was the same movie it was two totally different movies.

for some odd reason the part that sticks in my mind is tossing the cigarette lighter out the window.
