I read that in today's freep. That is so sad and of course it happened at Seven Jokes...

That is a shame. It seems someone made a very grave error. It also seems the WRHA was being very evasive. It seems to me such autopsy reports are available very very quickly. If there was a physical error it would have been identified immediately. If there were a drug error that might take more time. But that info could also have been provided to the family right away as well.

There are very smart people involved here yet they always seem to screw these things up making the matter more serious than it need be. Let's start making some serious consequences for not only the error maker but for the idiots that can't seem to act appropriately from the get go.

Based on the Freep report, it seems she had an allergic reaction to the anesthetic.

Not being a doctor that still surprises me. She died many hours later after being discharged. I always believed allergic reactions were immediate?

I know for a fact that It was an acute drug overdose that ended my fathers life in 7Oaks hospital.

I sat with him for the last month of his life. The doctors told me that the Pain killers would probably end up killing him. He had prostrate cancer that spread to his bones making a nasty case of Bone cancer.

He would have died anyways, the pain meds just helped him along faster.
