GC, for what its worth, I'm not convinced that I want to see this one either, but my wife thinks we should go see it. I think the idea of sitting there with those goofy glasses on is whats turning me off.

I saw the Avatar trailer at other movies over the last 6 months and both my wife and I's remarks were - "a must miss". Neither of us are into those sci-fi type movies. Usually we see movies as soon as they come out. We managed to avoid Avatar for the first month unitl my sister told us it was a "must see". She's in the movie business and also hates sci-fi's so we knew this would be different. It is. See it.

OK, I have to fess up. Went to see Avatar last Saturday. Took me almost a week to muster up the mettle to tell anyone.
Anyway, it was a good movie, storyline was a tad corny, but the effects were well done, not overdone, but believable.
It was inspiring and I have come to change my thinking on the plight of the blue people and their exploitation by the sky people. Can't we all just get along?
