I say leave Khadr in US prison for his 30 or 40 years, then bring him back to Canada to face treason charges.

if you watch canadian news media, they would have you believe that the way that terrorists are treated is a pressing and important issue. in my opinion we should be happy that the u.s. wants to keep terrorists locked under their watch. i can see the CBC sympathizing with khadr because they also sympathize with other muslim extremists such as hamas. what really pisses me off is the asper media and the u.s. networks who talk all about how evil the palestinians are but have an all out, prety much, ban on covering israeli and jewish attrocities that happen on a daily basis in palestine. did anyone ever hear what the aspers told their editorial boards not to cover? 1. israeli attacks on palestinians. 2.liberal party corruption, whenever or wherever it may occur. i am not a big fan of muslim extremists but i do not appreciate getting my "news" from sources that have interests to defend and promote a certain ethnic groups agenda.

thanks for the question. its in a book entitled "Asper nation: canadas most dangerous media company." this is not the only source ive seen it on websites, some of which would not appeal to most people.

the book i mentioned is by marc edge. i believe he is a university professor somewhere in western canada, not manitoba. as for the internet sites, yes, i guess you could call SOME of them anti semitic but on the other hand there are some anti gentile places on the web also, in my opinion.

Why don't you publish the links to the websites here that you have been using for your "research"? Let us judge for ourselves the content of your sources.

im not a computer genius. in fact the first time i touched a computer was less than a year ago. to find out more on the aspers and canwest google search: aspers, asper media control, etc... thats what i do.

Not a valid excuse since twice already you stated that some of your sources may be contentious? Do you not remember the names of those sites or what organizations run them or support them? One does not have to be a computer genius to recall the information that he has been using for his demonstrations of conspiracies.

Weeeellll... This is a forum. It's a discussion that has so far not crossed any lines.

I expect some people will react differently than others. Most sandboxinians know how I feel about this topic.

As long as we make an attempt at remaining relatively civil it'll be just fine. If anyone crosses a line a moderator will step in.
