Having been at the receiving end of a Feminist professor's wrath many moons ago, I've decided to post some stuff relating to feminists and their hypocrisy.

Lets hear from the Gals of this forum on this subject, and please use plain English and limit the gobbledygook.

1) The Feminist Hypocrisy
Well I’ve learned my lesson. The ladies are correct… arguing with a feminist, or hell even trying to explain anything reasonable to any one of them, is equal to trying to convince a religious zealot about science, or a evolutionist about creationist theory. It’s like talking to a Muslim drugged out of his mind, with bombs strapped to him as he screams while driving a truck into a crowded room.

It’s a waste of time.

However, there is one thing I did get out of it. Most feminists, with the chips that they carry on their shoulders (and they carry one on each shoulder, in order to help them balance), bring upon themselves their own crap. They don’t like the treatment they receive yet they go into places that are ripe with that kind of attitude, they react with a more extreme immaturity and adolescence as they validate that behaviour as being the "only" option, when anyone intelligent and reasonable know that there are always multiple options in any scenario at any given time.

2)Female Hypocrisy - A Feminist Condition
Try disagreeing with a political feminist and discover what a dumb ass your free will has become. Try disagreeing with anything a political feminist has to say about anything. You would get the same attitude and look from a radical environmentalist – no compromise, no reflection, no regard or respect for the opinion of another - no deals. Feminists are unapproachable, arrogant, and believe themselves to be intellectual elites…”

3)The Negative Aspects of Feminism
A lot of feminists believe they represent all women, and that any woman who does not go along with their agenda is either sadly misguided or a traitor to the core. Usually, they are worthy of the utmost
contempt.

4)Open Question: Why does criticizing feminism = mysogyny?
It seems if you criticize or call out feminism on certain things you immediately get labelled all sorts of things. A mysoginist, woman hater, someone who who doesn't want women to have equal rights and opportunities, angry that you can't beat your wife anymore, hate your mother, don't want women to have a chance etc. When did crticizing feminism mean hating women?

5)Men's resources for combating Feminists.

Now my question is, how do you feel about the 3rd wave of Feminism?

is it necessary or its it demeaning to women?

I am woman hear me roar! Smile I am not a feminist, I believe in equal rights and I believe I can do any job a man can do. I love men and I love being treated like a lady. I love when a man opens the car door for me, takes me out on dates and treats me like a lady.

Good Job LD. It's all true and everybody knows it. Strange because the last half hour I've spent on a employee/employer relationship which resulted in having to let her go. She feels that she's being sexually harrassed by anybody that speaks to her. A person could be reciting last night's news-broadcast and she would find personal, sexual harrassment in it somewhere. I've encouraged her to get the personal help that she needs. So should the Feminazi crowd out there. People will only take on so much of others peoples personal problems.

Sorry but there are just some things MOST Men can and always will be able to do far better then MOST Women. (and vice versa) Are there exceptions to that rule? Definately.

But procreation capabilities are not the only differences in our bodies and people need to recognize that.

By virtue of who you are, what you have just said - you are a feminist. Being a feminist does not mean that one hates men or wears big black boots and overalls and has a shaved head and eats pussy. Plain enuff for you LD.....??????

I am the same bent as GC in that I love men dearly, let them treat me in a gentlemanly fashion and I in turn dote on the one's who dote on me....that being said I will never subscribe to the kneejerk crap out there that is being espoused regarding my behaviours or how I should behave. Real men love the way I am, who I am and are not threatened by me.

I read what you posted LD and it is inflammatory and juvenile. But I suppose that was the whole point; another circle jerk. Man you guys must have really flithy computer screens by now.....

I do not see myself as a feminist. I happen to agree with alot of the guys in this thread. Most feminists I have met seem to be man haters. I personally cannot stand those women who constantly accuse men of hating women, being a mysoginist etc etc. It truly boggles the mind.

Feminazi? Why would you stoop so low as to use something Fat Limbaugh says.....and to say that "everybody" knows it??? There are always going to be some individuals who are extreme no matter their gender, religion, political stripes etc.....and there are those who get really tired of the oblique put downs because those sort of tactics get tiresome.

Myths vs. reality.

i think the problem here is that at one time Feminist truly meant, equality and that was all it meant. But some feminist extremists have simply taken it overboard and now Feminist for some has taken on a negative feeling to the point that alot of women wont admit to being a feminist.

Crazy world.

Just because the bullshit abuse that SOME men commit against women is recognized by feminists and discussed does not mean that those women are necessarily man-haters. Your words - "seem to be man haters" - perception vs. reality.

I am speaking from experience. I have met some self described feminists in my time and that is the impression they gave. As soon as a man disagrees with them they start calling him a woman hater and a mysoginist, it truly is pathetic and sad all at the same time!

Clearly you hate Rush Limbaugh but he's not so fat anymore so that endearing remark doesn't stick.
"erverybody knows it"? Yeah - everybody that knows it - knows it. Look - I believe that people have had it with segmented society. And Feminazi is a perfectly appropriate word for that bunch. Rush had a heart-attack last night so show some respect to the great political commentator.

Which extremists and in whose eyes? Perhaps you oughtta read Susan Faludi's book "Backlash"......it outlines brilliantly the "conservative" war against women and how feminism has been twisted around.

That is not how all feminists behave just like not all men are like JTF or all conservatives are as stupid as Fat Limbaugh or Glen Dreck.......

"Which extremists and in whose eyes"

as in the case of eveything where someone takes it to the extreme... The eyes of everyone who is not an extremist.

and you know what... no.. I wont be ready that book. From all the summaries I have read it does nothing but make HUGE assumptions on the authors own interpretation of reality.

This particular excerpt from the book is a prime example.
http://www.susanfaludi.com/backlash-chapter.html
"
The prevailing wisdom of the past decade has supported one, and only one, answer to this riddle: it must be all that equality that's causing all that pain. Women are unhappy precisely because they are free. Women are enslaved by their own liberation. They have grabbed at the gold ring of independence, only to miss the one ring that really matters. They have gained control of their fertility, only to destroy it. They have pursued their own professional dreams—and lost out on the greatest female adventure. The women's movement, as we are told time and again, has proved women's own worst enemy. "

Who tells women this crap time and time again? Extreme feminists that are trying to make up excuses for their own failure, thats who.
