So a cop was taken down by a sting in 2006.. I think we all sorta remember this.
Anyway he was found guilty recently and asked for an absolute discharge because, hey! I lost my job, pension and respect.
Judge says.. no... you are getting a criminal record.

I think if you look at it.. for $100 you might be inclined to agree he should get off. But then you really should remember.....he must have done something else for his fellow cops to suspect him enough to set up and elaborate sting to catch him. What the hell else has this guy done? Should get some freakin jail time maybe.

It was nice to see some cops getting rid of a very bad apple for once.
I figure he must have stolen from another cop and that pissed somebody off. I doubt that this happens very often.

Where there's smoke, there must be fire? I think anybody who would do that would not be behaving normally in terms of their job performance. By all accounts, this was a previously good cop who slipped - co-workers and bosses notice when your work performance and behaviour changes. It could be that's all that made then watch him.

I am glad this guy is getting a criminal record. Maybe some jail time for good measure. Give other cops a message, don't F%ck up.

IMO Derek Harvey-Zenk should have gone to jail as well.

Cops need to be held to a higher standard and if they cant conform, quit and get another job.

The link is gone! Shame that any police officer makes it through the tests and then cannot make the grade.

I would guess that 99.9% of our force are pretty damn good, unless they run into a crotchety older man? lol
