It takes two to tango. Tigre isn't the only one who could "keep it in his pants" or his "legs crossed". The women are just as much to blame as he is. 50/50. They were using eachother.

But in the end, who really cares? It's just another bunch of cheating humans who don't give a rat's ass about themselves or their families anyway, showing their true characters, or lack there of.

The people I feel sorry for in all of this are his children who will have to endure the harrassement of the papparazzi and the embarrassment of what their father has done to destroy their family.

Did he ask to be a role model? He is a talented guy and a great golfer. I feel for his children but like I stated before we really don't know the whole story. Nobody knows what goes on in a marriage, we only know what we are told.
When you lend your name to a "learning centre" you are putting yourself forth as role model. When you lend your name to a golf tournament you are making a big statement. And when young people the world over try to emulate you then yes you become a role model. All adults are role models to someone but when you are a professional athlete your status as a role model becomes a bit more "in your face" so to speak. And regardless of what "goes on in a marriage" unless the marriage has been dissolved through separation, divorce or anulment, adultery is still a sin regardless of how bad the marriage may be.

Spin it however you like it is still none of your business, none of my business and none of anyone's business what goes on in a marriage.

Adultery is a sin? Says who? Oh wait the Bible says it so it must be true. *rolls eyes* I know a couple who swings, I guess they are sinners. LOL

This is a pointless thread. Who really gives a shite what Tiger Woods does.

Obviously you never read the first posting in the thread. This thread has nothing at all to do with what Tiger Does. Its a thread asking the question why do these girls need lawyers?

Where did I mention the Bible Goth? Adultery is still a legal form of disposition of a marriage. So even in the eyes of the court of law, adultery is a "sin". You may not think it is, that is your opinion, but to a lot of people in this world it is wrong on a lot of platforms.
As for it being my business, it may not be my business how he damages his personal life, but when it transfers to his professional life and he is being paid by the public dollars being spent on product that he is the promoter of, then yes it becomes public business-indirectly. However, I am not a fan of his so I don't purchase TW labelled items, Nike products that he would use nor do I drive a Buick product (he no longer is the buick spokesperson) or drink Gatorade, I don't have a vested interest. It will be interesting to see how long before some of his sponsors change their tune on having him as their front man. One headline I have seen is likening him to Wilt Chamberlain and his escapades from the 60" & 70's were notorious.

You called Adultery a sin. Not me. Why do you care so much about what Tiger Woods does? Maybe it's time for people to start worrying about their own lives and stop wondering about Tiger Woods, Brad Pitt etc etc

And all of a sudden it turns into this craziness. Sluts and sinners. For all of you religious people here's one for ya: Let he without sin cast the first stone.

With all the shite going on in this world, it still amazes me ( yes I know it shouldn't) that Tiger Woods personal life is news...reminds me of all that crap that went on when Brad Pitt dumped what's her face for Angelina. I don't watch Entertainment Tonight or any of those celebrity gossip shows. Pointless and a waste of time.

Heh heh...all I really want to know is if, like Arnold Palmer's wife, Tiger's wife kisses his balls for good luck.

For those that don't know the story, Johnny Carson asked Palmer if he was superstitious and/or if he did anything before a tournamnet...Arnold answered that he wasn't superstitious but that his wife did kiss his balls for good luck.

Dean, other than the first answer I gave you as to why these women may need an attorney, here is another angle, an old one but still valid, even here in Canada.....one that I have most certainly looked into.

I will speak from my own experience here. I was in a relationship for 10 years, we never married or had kids but were common law. We owned a house and a car together. I should've left after the first 2 years but I didn't (hind sight). I stayed in a relationship even though I wasn't happy, I wasn't in love and had no desire to have sex with him. I never cheated but I was tempted. I didn't leave because I was scared to be alone. I am now happy and in love...

What I'm saying here is there are reasons why someone cheats.

It, the cheating, is not necessarily committed because of lack of satisfaction.....too complex an issue to boil down and generalize....sometimes it's a compulsion, a reaction to aging, a desire to be desired (like testing the waters) or a yearning to be "young" again or just wanting a new flavour. Any way one slices it, someone gets hurt and as much as the one who cheats is ultimately to blame some blame should and can be placed upon the person, the party the cheater is having an affair with especially if that person knew they were sleeping with a married person.

That being said there are some relationships that just die and some folks have a hard time admitting that is the case but in the case of those marriages where the offended party was led to believe that all is well and then KABOOM, the lead weight gets dropped on their head, their life turned upside down, finances messed with etc....? Too painful, hurtful and to me an incredibly selfish thing to do to someone who stood by their spouse through the good and bad times.....and was hoping to grow old with the person they loved.

I doublt the Mrs. W needs to sue anybody but it is an interesting law.

Alienation of Affection is still on the books in Canada as far as I am aware and is a valid grounds for a lawsuit.
