I have no concerns about the school. The school is great... just a few of the teachers are dipshits.

issues are not yet resolved no. but hopefully will be soon.

Dean,

I wouldn't bother waiting for the teacher to send home anything. There are are free resources on the internet that you can access. If you know what your child is behind in you are just as capable as teh teacher in helping your child to learn. What is you child behind in? Is it math or english?

No homework in high school? Now that is STUPID!!

I see students enter college every year - it becomes obvious in the first few weeks who knows how to study and who doesn't. We wipe out around 1/2 in the first term every year, not because the students aren't smart but because of the "everybody passes" philosophy from schools nowadays. Not just public schools either - some of my worst students have been from private school.
