I have 4 desktops and 8 Ultrasharp 1905 flat panel monitors that I will be selling tomorrow. Here are the specs of the desktops:

what size monitors? (i'm assuming 17" or 19")

For your computers:
The first 2 - about $250
#3 - maybe $200-250
#4 - might get $150-200

Depends on who you're selling them to.
And what software is included? What version of Windows, productivity, etc.

If the monitors are each 17", you'll probably get $100-140, 19" - up to $200 each.

A better question would be, how much are YOU looking to get for them? How old are they? How much memory do they have? I'm guessing integrated video on all?

19 inch monitors

I aint selling.. work is.. wondering if I should bid and how much what are these computers worth? Icon_smile

2GB ram all computers are 3 years old as that is our contract. We keep 3 years and then replace.

and yes.. we use dell. Its CHEAP! and works quite well.

For the monitors...

Hate to say it, but they aren't what they used to be. You can buy a 19" flat panel brand new for $99, not on sale... so yeah..

I guess the dreaded answer people hate to hear from the IT department...."it depends"

$150-$200 would be my inclination for surplus work PC's...yes, they work great for most users, so that's usually why I tend to stay on the cheap side...your buying something (especially DELL) that's going to be a little more difficult to find replacement parts should something start to go on you....save the xtra cash for that, just in case.

Dell has different types of flat panel monitors. If they are the kind that can rotate 90 degrees, with the round base, then those are excellent and worth paying more for. The picture is great and the ability to rotate to portrait mode is very handy, as most documents and web pages (including this one) are better suited to that.

I second that - I had a similar third-party monitor for one of my Macs (back in the previous century) and absolutely loved it.

yeah.. unfortunately I cant get my company to donate any. I have tried.

Also.. holy sh1t batman!! themonitors all went for more then $50... all of the computers for more then $100 and a couple for more then $200
