Holy Moly- happy Thanksgiven everyone!
Great news- my son and daughter-in-law have shown up after being on a bicycle around a big part of the world, USA, New Zealand, Australia, VietNam, Cambodia, China, Dali Lama country, KatMandu, for 1 year and 3 weeks are back in town, unannounced, and hungry for some Canadian , loaded with sodium , food!
And my wife has announced that she is leaving me tomorrow mourning, for Alberta! I guess that means HurtinAlbertan could move in for a few days, on an emergency rate, if MizP will cook for us! lol
All I have in the freezer are a couple of steaks, some great bacon, and 2 doggy bones.

I wanted to wish all the sandbox members a Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for the great family and friends I have. In appreciation of my family I am making a yummy turkey dinner with all the trimmings today.

Happy Happy!
I tried to evade my kids and stay at home, but I answered my phone and now I have to give up a Rockford re-union and Metallica and the NFL and go up to my vegetarian's daughter's cottage at Hillside, where she claims to have prepared a turkey, not a red pepper, as I had assumed!

What a great real Turkey done up with all the trimmings and with 3 green servings that I managed to evade, except for 1 green bean.
Pretty nice, -cottage heated by a wood burning fireplace, lots of young, under 35 year olds, and 3 dogs hanging around, all in the 1 room!
1hour and 15 minute ride to Hillside, all looked after by my #1 son.
Missed Rockford and missed my planed KFC dinner. I will have to use my coupons tonight!
happy Thanksgiving! It is nice to spend time with family.
