I just noticed that it is snowing! Yep, it wasn't until last evening that I decided to cancel plans to golf today.

I cleaned up the backyard and laid the border down for the backyard rink in this last week. Gonna be awesome.

at least its nicer today then yesterday.. christ was the wind,rain.snow ever freakin cold. At least my sons at fun at soccer... KICKIN ASS at soccer I might add.

Getting in the car this am I wished I'd brought my gloves with me. No, not really ready for winter. Mostly because we didn't really have a summer.

They say we will be having a mild winter due to el nino (?). Hope "they" are right.

We had yesterday what youse guys in Edmonton had but without that wind. It is now Saturday morning and there is a fresh white blanket of snow on the ground. Some of it melted overnight and I hope the rest goes today and tomorrow.

I would love some of that 20* Phoenix weather too. I would HATE her 45* summers though.

Yeah, I heard they got some snow in Edmonton too, but I have been in north central BC for the last few days. It was snowing heavily in the foothills, around Hinton when we left. It also snowed in the foothills of the Coastal Mountain around Smithers, where I am now. I took my co-worker up to Twin Falls and Glacier Gulch, and there was snow in the higher elevations. It was quite pretty up there.

I put my shorts, T-shirts and sandals away. I have my heavy sweats all ready for duty. Holy Moly- I promised my wife snow tires after 9 years . I guess I can give that to her as a birthday gift?
Are winter tires OK for that? Hmmnn ... that sounds like a good thread!

I am so not ready for this. We went from Spring to winter. What happened to summer and fall? My tree still has all of it's leaves and those leaves are green.

*sigh* I finally had to pick all the little never-to-be yellow pear tomatoes that were left....


Here comes fried green tomatoes. Anyone else enjoy this southern delicacy every fall?
