Offices closing in Winnipeg has nothing to do with the environment that the pro-union, socialist, tax them till they bleed NDP government that is in power, does it?

They were in almost all offices at one time due to a act that then whatever PM deemed necessary for them to have . It stated that if an American wanted to operate and sell in Canada then it had to employ and operate a Canadian division with so much commitment . It had nothing to do with the NDP as they weren't even on the map yet. I believe it was conservative but not certain.

Do you actually believe that legislating the creation of jobs is viable?

No at one time it was a condition to sell in Canada is what I mean and in many cases it still is in the USA. When you sell to them so much has to be made there . Hence New Flyer in Pembina Defrehns in St Cloud I believe . This practice is more common then you might think .

Here, I'll repeat the question...Do you actually believe that legislating the creation of jobs is viable?

Back to the topic would be nice if this could become a Central park idea or at least the majority of it we have enough public housing to look after . So it is not needed here , a place for people to come first by that very little commercial development .
Just enough to suit the park restaurants and the like maybe the water slide would go better here .

It looks like the good people living in Island Lakes and the area being developed near it are in need of a firehall. Nobody thought of it beforehand eh ?

Restrict further urban sprawl and build houses on the land if ever the rails move is my answer. We already have firehalls around that area. Wink
