I am not certain I would, then again I have never had severe swine flu to my knowledge so I dont know how bad it gets. But calling 911 seems a little extreme no?

Just a little almost as bad as the ambulance attendents on the sun cover I think it was with the breathing mask. A little over done to did not know that it was aproved by WRHA .

WHAT IS THE CURRENT COST FOR AN AMBULANCE? $500?
I would get a lift down to the hospital and then walk, coughing through all 7 floors, excluding the babies and children'w ward. I would go twice around where they have the old people and then I would leave or check in to emergency!
Gotta spread the germs. It seems to me that the only place to get sick is out on the reservation with the aboriginals!
How would you visit that crew?
How many deaths that can be completelt blamed on the flu in canada? Still none?
Is it close to the 11,000 to 58,000 estimate that was in the paper, dependant on a pandemic??

It's all in the HOTDOG!
BUT since they closed down the Eaton's Bargain Centre, to make way for the MTS Centre, HOTDOGS are no longer available in Winnipeg.

I wouldn't call 911 unless I wasn't able to breathe, bleeding profusely, or inable to move. Then again, my doctor has remarked with surprise on more than one occasion that he hardly ever sees me -- the occasions taking place over the past decade, of course, since I normally only see the doctor once a year for my annual check up.

Calling 911 is a bit excessive, although it'd be worse if they'd taken the bus and exposed other people to the disease.

It's the FLU. Unless their immune systems are compromised by other health concerns, people need to stop panicking.

Next time the World Health Org or Centre for Disease Control says XXX people have now died from H1N1, ask the question to them, how many people world wide have died because of the common "flu" virus and you will see that virus is more of an epidemic/pandemic than H1N1 ever will be.
If everyone were to "panic" every time someone sneezed or coughed, we would be bumping into our neighbour in a bubble (aka Michael Jackson).
