sandbox members...

We've been up and running for two plus weeks now.
I've been tweaking this site continuously (and making a few mistakes). Hopefully you like what you see. That said, I invite your feedback. Is there anything you'd like to see? Or not see.

For instance, I think the posts take up FAR too much room. I can reduce them in size but it means removing things such as location, the "huh?" spot, zodiac signs, etc. Is there something that must stay or should go? Do you care?

Tell us what is important and maybe not so important.

I was just wondering if the list of topics on the left is redundant.

Other than that, I've got no complaints, not that that is a complaint actually...more like an observation.

You've done a wonderful job Bill, and we're very grateful for your work in putting this site together.

Yes it is a bit redundant but do we need all of this room for posts, personally I think we got it right . Leave it for awhile and lets try it out for awhile then the real faults of any come out

I like the Latest Posts column down the left side. I think if the Location/Joined/Posts/Age were moved to beside the Avatar, the spacing issue would be solved.

I agree with the "latest topics" list...it's convenient...especially when a thread is really active...to see from any page if someone has replied or not.

I might suggest moving the location/joined/posts/age etc. across the bottom of a post (like a signature line). Putting it to the right of the avatar may push the threads off the screen to the right...those with smaller screens would get annoyed having to keep scrolling horizontally to read posts.

Another suggestion would be to narrow the "Latest Topics" list to about 3/4 it's current width. It will make it longer down the page...but pull the threads over to reduce the need for horizontal scrolling.

Or, if the posts were made narrower, then there would be more lines wrapping, and be more likely to match the height of the avatar block.... just as an alternative....

Of, if there was a "thumbs up" option...I wouldn't have to quote FR & type this entire message Wink.

The thanks option is a test. Not active I'm afraid... Sorry! We'll keep working on it.

I've been informed by Wikipedia that they don't allow advertising of forums or "personal" sites, so the link has been removed.

It doesn't mean we can't post a link to our sandbox wherever we may be. Very Happy.
