He seems to play here fairly often.
With the top tickets priced at $199, I'm planning on skipping this one!

I usually don't buy tickets to concerts where the artist is close to retirement age (65) as you never know if they will actually be alive when the concert date comes along and getting a refund from ticketmaster is like brushing teeth with steel wool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sarcasm end

Better tell Mr. Stewart that Winnipeg doesn't have a downtown train... so the answer is no.

Can Rod Stewart actually sellout the arena? I'm thinking Metallica, ACDC, and Iron Maiden could. I just don't see there being that much interest in Rod Stewart to justify the high ticket costs.

There might have been more interest but he's played here recently a few times already. For Maiden, Metallica, The Eagles, Coldplay, Tom Petty, etc., they hadn't played here for a while (if ever) so there was pent up demand and the shows quickly sold out.

They are NUTS to charge that much for the best seats. Metallica charged $80 and sold out.

maybe Rod is shopping for new wife or husband (besides mel gibson) and he only wants "rich" people sitting up front to evaluate.

Yes, but keep in mind that Winnipeg has always been a blue collar, hard-rock city. There aren't nearly as many rich old women to fill the arena. I would be suprised if it sells out.

Tickets went on sale today. I just checked and front row on the floor is still available. Amazing lack of interest!
