Why should anyone care what consenting adults do? Why would the law say anything about a guy having 3 or 7 wives today, what with the 1982 Constitution Act, I think all the laws trying to prevent that would be thrown out of court. I know in B.C. that their have been 2 studies done by the Crown that told them the law could not be enforced because it was unconstitutional.
I believe that whomever is practising that in B.C. have simply been living common law, so as to avoid being persecuted, and prosecuted.
This has nothing to do with 12 year olds getting married to, what we would percieve as "dirty old stinky" men!

Isn't that the deal with the guy in B.C.? The "marriages" aren't registered with the province and so the women apply and receive welfare for themselves and their children. Six or seven wives with a few kids each adds up to a fair chunk of change.

actually no...it's been proven that when a group of women "live" together for a period of time (no pun intended)...that monthly cycle tends to coincide with the others...which means a LOT of PMS all at once.

What is even worse is when your beautiful left handed wife has a left handed daughter!
I know of one case where the beloved husband , has to hide out in his back yard gazeebo, in a life threatening envirinment, with only a TV set, some cheap crown royal and a smelly cigar for protection!!
