Tickets CA $49.50 - CA $69.50.

I was in the front row the last time he was here, about two years ago, and it was excellent! I suspect he'll get a smaller crowd, since most people were seeing him for the first time, at the last show.

Ticketscalper.ca

There's a point when you're purchasing seats online (or by phone) where it's asked for a password, promotion code, etc.

4/5, 6500 fans.
Killer show. Age-defying Fogerty ran around the stage, smiled a lot, grimmaced as he bent the strings on several guitars. At one point, there were four electric guitars being played, plus one acoustic and one electric bass. Security were quick to shoo away anyone who walked up the rail in the front row, if they didn't have a front row ticket. Drummer Kenny Aronoff was with John Mellencamp for 10 albums and 17 years during his prime in the 80s and 90s. Guitarist Billy Burnette was in Fleetwood Mac when they temporarily lost Lindsay Buckingham in the 80s. The fiddle playing was sublime and brough an true country-rockin' sound to some songs.

This was rock'n'roll heaven for a classic rock fan like me. Great view from row 1 on the floor, just like last time. 27 songs played, some newer ones that I wasn't familiar with, but more than enough great tunes to satisfy. No opening act. Two hour show. No video screens, so if you were far away, you didn't have a great view. Video screens do cost something, but they should by used in these sort of shows.

Wha? What are you talking about Pavolo? Why do you suppose all these great bands are touring? Because the peeps going to their concerts want to hear the songs that made them great to begin with. And if they are attracting huge crowds, which they are, then it is very likely not "when". Perhaps they do know when after all eh?

I ususally cut Pav a lot of slack. I don't think English is his first language. Lots of times I haven't a clue what he's saying.

This is for you Triniman and I will cut you the same slack for lack of manners . The scalpers milk you for your money for a concert , then the artist milks his old hits for more EASY ENOUGH NOW.

Grumpy some of the bands need to call it quits well they are on top not as a has been band .

They may be a "has been" band when people stop paying for tickets. As long as they have a decent following I'd not be so quick to slap such titles upon them.

Hell there is no need to slap such titles on them at all come to think of it. I'm not sure why we have to drag down people just because they are not today what they were yesterday.

Celebrate them for what they gave us. Enjoy their gift again or not. No need to slag 'em.

When the crowds that show up expect something, there not getting, Iam not slagging only pointing out some guys, bands go to far . Look at all the old bands in the Casino yes people pay have you ever heard some of them . Shadows of the act they once were , I would rather be remembered for the good times that's all .

I so wish I could have gone.....Fogarty still has the magic, and thats what matters. 6500 fans wouldn't show up if he was a has been, that I know for a fact. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him touring, he enjoys making music for the fans and they love him in return. What on earth is wrong with that?

I'll cut you some slack for your ignorance, Pav. Had you been at the show, you would have heard him play a lot of newer material, rather than take the easy way out and play nothing but hits. He has more than enough hit material to play a full concert, but he did not do that. He's willing to take some risks and still performed as if he were decades younger, with vigor, enthusiasm and energy.

A friend won tickets and I took in my only show at the casino, Eddie Money. He was well past his prime, looked comical as he did pirouettes, but the fans enjoyed the show and I appreciated his effort. Yes, a shadow of what I imagine he once was, but the public votes with their wallets by buying tickets or staying at home. That's just the way it is. Why poo poo over artists who are still out there, trying, well past their prime? I say good for them.
