LOL... according to CJOB... Tyndall Park is now a part of the north end Smile

Winnipeg Police have closed a north end street this hour.

Officers were called to attend the area of the 1900 block of Manitoba Avenue at 730 this morning. As a result Manitoba Avenue will be closed between Huber Street and Featherstone Way until further notice.

Police will only confirm it is regarding a suspicious circumstance.

There is no additional information available at this time.

Motorists are requested to avoid the area.

http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/Body-found-on-Manitoba-Avenue-41369167.html
Winnipeg police have closed a portion of a Tyndall Park street after a body was found on a sidewalk in the 1900 block of Manitoba Avenue.
Const. Jason Michalyshen said police were called to the area at about 7:30 a.m. after receiving a call of a body on the sidewalk.
Const. Michalyshen confirmed a person has died, but did not say if it is a man or a woman. “We’re trying to determine what took place,” he said.
A body can be seen on the sidewalk underneath a sheet.
Manitoba Avenue has been closed between Huber Street and Featherstone Way, an area between King Edward and Keewatin streets. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Neighbours said police have been going door-to-door asking residents if they heard anything suspicious, but the residents said there was nothing out of the ordinary in the neighbourhood this morning.
Neighbours said police told them the body was of an older man who might have slipped on the slippery sidewalk.

so maybe not murder

CJOB should issue an immediate retraction. Now that this has been determined not to be a murder, or suspicious, they can retract the "north end" reference. Had it been a murder, I guess they could have stuck with it.
