We do not (wife) use any poisons at all, and use lots of mulch which we make all year round and then in fall time pick up 300-400 bags of leaves to cover the roses to insulate them from the rather frigid weather.
Come springtime and summer the leaves all decompose over the roses adding lots of nutrition to the earth.

Is spring finished?
Any one celebrating daylite savings day?
Maybe should be a new thread instead of my old thread revival celebration?
