I am sorry but 5 years , serving 1/3 is way too short for the type of assault. If the system could afford it, and having these criminals work for their food, this guy should have gotten 15 years for the type of assault. keep him in the pen until he has matured, or is an old man like J2F!

He has been re-arrested and is out again on bail.
I think common practise , is to harrass these nice guys, and let them know what the police think of them!
That is standard practise on N.Y.P.D. and The Blue Line out of Toronto!

oh you mean from the original charge.. yeah well without dangerous offender status as long as one serves their time they get out. I guess another choice would be committing him to a psych ward since he has admited to being a danger to himself or others.

They let him out on parole though. That doesn't make sense.

If one is automatically released after serving only two-thirds, what is the point of a full sentence? Especially if a con is let out again if he offends during the mandatory released time (the last third). Doesn't make sense.
