stupid people... crossing streets against the light

This morning on the bus, we were just turning off Notre Dame onto Maryland. The driver had a green light the DONT WALK signal was displayed. As the driver starts to turn the corner a Lady steps off the curb and starts to cross the street. The Driver piles on the brakes as she does this little fake fast walk thing that makes it look like you are trying to hurry but that you are not. The lady gets half way across and then even stops the fake fast walk thing.. The driver releases his brakes and start to move forward.. the lady continues crossing the street and the driver continues turning. The lady apparently pissed off on this actually stops about 2 feet from the curb and turns around with her mouth wide open, gasping in astonishment that the bus is still turning and is only 3 feet away from her. So I gave her the finger... and gave the bus driver my name and phone number in case this moron lady decided to call and complain about him.

What is it about buses that people cant see them? Why do they step in front of them so often? Is it becuse they think.. oh its a bus they will stop and let me do whatever I want no matter how legal, or illegal or how much it holds them up?

This woman obviously wanted to meet you!

Some pedestrians deserve to be run over...doddling across the street, seemingly deliberately holding up traffic.
I like to creep up slowly and then lean on the horn...starltes the hell outa' them....wakes them up to reality imo.

Don't worry, this lady isn't bright enough to know the number for 311.

I hope not. sure made the bus drivers day though when I gave him my name and phone number and told him I would back him up if the lady complained about him.

Notre Dame and Maryland, isn't that the same corner as the Maryland Hotel?????????????? If so this could explain a few things.

I usauly put a white cane on the dash. they see it . Makes um wonder

If it's a sailboat...it has the right-of-way...obviously this is the case...as she's a complete airhead .
