It's not so much actually meeting the peeps. It is your perception of them. They may be the smartest people in the world and that might come through when speaking with them. But the written word might leave a much different impression.

But if you are looking for more than just an internet chat it may mean a meeting or not. But I do agree with meeting people on certain forums is not very desirable. I could name a few that come to mind.

apparently the human only needs a couple letters from each word to know what is being said. i remember years ago there was a email that went around typed like that and you could understand it perfectly fine. I have also heard thats how speed reader read so quickly. They just certian words from a paragraph and their minds fill in the rest. IMO you wouldn't to hear the stories my mind would come up with filling in those blanks!! affraid
