Laser surgery for me. Now I have perfect vision. However laser cannot fix the need for reading glasses. Well they can but it did not appeal to me.

Bifocals for the past 6 years, glasses period since I was 9. Laser surgery is not an option for my type of astigmatism.

Both.

I usually just wear my glasses unless I'm doing some sort of sport/activity - then I put the contacts in.

All depends on if I'm too lazy to put them in or not ! Smile

I have the same problem. Shame, really, as I'd love to get rid of these bloody contacts once and for all.

heh.. I distinctly remember going to my first optometrist appointment when I was 6. Why do I remember?
1). We lived in Hudson Bay and I had to travel to Tisdale or Yorkton for the appointment.
2) It was a saturday.
3) the doctor used those eye drops that dialate the pupils
4) we had to hurry back for my bowling league games for 5PM
5) I could not focus well for the league game
6) one of the little girls on the team had split her pants and you could see her panties.
and the reason I remember this all so well?

because of the dilated pupils I never actually got to see her panties!

I had a very bad astigmatism in both eyes, but very thick corneas. That allowed me to have the laser surgery. The doctor said that the thickness of my corneas made me a prime candidate since the surgery can be repeated if necessary.

Maybe this is where your obsession with PANTS started?

Fort Rucker was pretty neat. It's a flight school for the US Army...and Warrant Officer School.

Considering most of my time there I was in "training"...I honestly didn't get to go "touring" too often. But I did enjoy my time there.

To "stay on topic"...when I was there...I had 20/20 vision. An actual requirement for the training I was in.
