Roger Waters adds second Winnipeg show

Confirmed now.

"The wall will come down twice in Winnipeg.

Roger Waters has added a second Winnipeg show to his North American tour after the first date on May 31 sold out. The former Pink Floyd bassist-vocalist will stick around for another night and perform the band’s entire 1979 concept album, The Wall, at the MTS Centre again on June 1. Tickets for the new date go on sale on Monday, Nov. 28 for $57.75 to $212.25 at Ticketmaster."

Well I had a few beers last night and ended up buying tickets for May 31st show. LOL I guess I shouldn't consume alcohol then go online. Ended up with section 125.

Odd, the May 31 show appears to be sold out.

Ha ha! The weird thing is, it was sold out the day it went on sale and when I checked this evening, same thing. Maybe the lesson to be learned is it's worth checking back.

Can't wait. Should be the concert event of 2012. God bless Roger Waters!

Got tickets to the June 1st show via presale. Going with my hubby & son as a tribute to my brother in law who passed a year ago. The 3 of them are/were huge fans, me I just love my family so will honour him by going in his place.

That's cool, HG. Are you a Pink Floyd fan?

Not really a huge fan. I do appreciate the music and the fact that it has a storyline to it, something that a lot of British musicians seem to do well. I have seen Floyd so it will be interesting to see him solo.
