Used to be I only listened to CITI FM. I found I've grown tired of what I thought was a very small selection of songs.

Now I listen to FAB 94.3 mostly, with a default to CITI FM morning drive. I've now started listening to Sports radio on the AM dial on the drive home.

I don't own a radio, and last listened to one sometime in the 90s - this is so last millenium.

Used to be exlcusively 99.9 BOB FM, but lately they've been playing more crap from the 90's. I'm an 80's guy at heart, and I find myself turning the station off constantly now.

I ABHOR Beau from "Beau Tom and The Other One", so I listen to 99.9FM morning show, then FAB 94.3 through the day. Seriously, if ANYONE should retire, it's Beau and his god damn need for segues. Take a drink every time he utters the words "Hey, speaking of {insert worst attempt at connecting two separate stories here}. You'll be drunk before 7 AM.

From 4-6pm, it's Hustler and Lawless on Sports Radio 1290 for me.

Sunday nights is a church service on NCI FM that features the WORST musicians in the world. It's worth checking out! Smile

CBC R2 (98.3) in the morning (Morning with Bob Mackowycz) and after work (Drive and Canada Live).

On Saturday morning I listen to Molly Johnson on CBC R2 and usually have KickFM (92.9) during the day (Beer For Breakfast, Retro Revolution and the Kick Top 40).

I find the other stations in Winnipeg annoying as they usually have more commercials and incessant nattering than music.

heh. It's sad that I'd rather listen to a "Cam Clark Cuts The Mustard" commercial over CBC.

Would it KILL any of them to try injecting a bit of inflection or personality into their voices? Wink

I listen to either CJOB or 1290 during the morning drive to work. On the drive home, I enjoy the CJOB sports show at 6 pm. Otherwise, most of my listening is to American radio stations online, particularly Arizona stations.

Still a country girl at heart so listen to QX104. Saturday mornings I will listen to 103 but only for about 15 minutes on the way to the gym, wakes me up for the grueling work out I am about to encounter. And if there is nothing that catches me, I flip on the Ipod or CD.

Bring on the streaming innernet radio for me!

Listening to innernet radio on my BB, connected to my stereo in my car, or my receiver @ home, or ear-buds directly off the BB.

No commercials, totally free. Free'er if I had a "unlimited data plan"!

The crappy thing is the beater car I'm driving right now doesn't have any audio-input, so terrestrial radio is the only option...or nothing. 100.7 wouldn't be so bad if it had a little less "blues" and a little more classic rock.

Is it just me, or does it seem that most terrestrial radio stations around here seem to have synchronized their commercial breaks to be @ the same time...so as to stop station surfing?

CJOB has Bob Irving, the best radio sports announcer in town. I also like the CJOB traffic report for the drive home.
I don't listen to radio for music. That's what my ipod is for.
I love classic rock but I've heard it to death so I listen to mostly indie bands and straight-ahead jazz artists.
Torture for me would be having to listen to country radio. Just too bland for my tastes.

I mostly quit listening to radio stations.

Will tune into CBC or CJOB to grab some news or weather...otherwise I have a little FM Transmitter in my car with an SD Card & over 900 songs that I picked...and if I don't like the playlist...I just copy new songs onto the card.

CJOB and 1290. Depends on the time of day for each. Music comes via USB or CD still.

I bought a new car and have satellite radio for free for 6 months, used it twice, I hate it and will not subscribe to it.
I like getting local news, traffic, weather, listening to morning show banter, and sports
So my stations are CJOB in the morning, mixed in with some Citi FM, 1290 at 4 (wonder how Karen Blacks ratings are now), can not listen to the OB sports show at all, it's horrible, hoping 1290 gets the Jets radio and would love to see them get the Bombers too, I have had enough of Bob Irving, he's great for football, but everything else, no thanks. Also like the new 94 and occasionally BOB

Heh, I had the EXACT same initial response to satellite that you did USApegger. I swore I'd never pay for satellite. Now? I can't be without it. I drive a bit for work and I really enjoy listening to the comedy channels during my drives. The only exceptions are the drive to work and home drives.

Check out the comedy stations. Nothing better than a great LOL moment when driving along during some of the idiotfest's our streets frequently become.

Sirius says there are no commercials. Not a shred of truth to that claim. In fact the commercials they do air are incredibly annoying.
