To power it and the device also works as a FM transmitter so you can listen to your ipod on the radio. It has some other functions that seem alittle useless to me. lol

I don't need an iPod attachment to tell me when I'm drunk.

If I'm slurring my words, having difficulty walking, and people start making sense, it's time to say "OK, maybe a couple more, then it's time to call a cab!".

This iBreath thing reminds me of a news article I read ages ago.

A bar in Finland had a breathalyzer machine installed as a service for their patrons, so they'd know when they were too drunk to drive.

A good idea in theory, but what ended up happening was these same patrons used the Breathalyzer to judge their drinking contests... Shocked

heh yeah... plus there was a couple of bars in the states that did it... and then were sued becuase they never put on thier "for entertainment purposes only" and when a guy drank too much.. and the bar breathalyzer passed him.. he went out and got into an accident ( thnkfuly no one was killed) and sued the bar for making him think he was okay to drive Smile
