I dont have the time nor the drive to BEG a candidate to allow me to vote for them.
Until such time as the cons respect Winnipeg North, Winnipeg North wont respect or elect a con.

And to answer the thread question...the answer should be "1".
A missed vote should have a fine levied against that MP for failure to do their job.
Certain exceptions may be applied, provided they are in writing, and meet other criteria:
Doctor's note, family emergency, state of emergency in their area, etc....but just a "no-show"...issue the fine.
And then, miss more than (I'd use a percentage rather than a number) say 10% of all the votes...they are no longer eligible to run for office.
