To Whom it May Concern,
Hello my name is Riley I am an amateur film maker with a movie that i think you may be interested in. My friends and I are working on a film mockumentry following our mens league hockey team (the ducks) through their trials and tribulations throughout the year. The film is planned to premier in the summer at Rock bar.

As someone who is pretty much morally against movie trailers.. I also hate this trailer.
I don't know who thought to start and continue filming the older guy buuut when it finally got going I started to get a bit interested.

It's probably terribly shot and directed buuut I wouldn't be opposed to watching it once.

Not hardly.

Like the aforementioned Trailer Park Boys, and other similar stupidity like Jackass...the fact that funding is even provided to produce this garbage proves that it's not just politicians who are stupid with other people's money.

I don't care about the quality of filming, nor the dialogue...it's the glorification of stupid drunk idiots, and promotion of being assh0les as though it's some kind of honour that bothers me.

Because kids (teens) will watch this and thing "gee...if I act drunk and stupid and make a movie about it...I'll become famous", which for most young people equates with being rich and popular.

Remember that hand-held black and white thingy that was released a couple of years ago?

It cost about $25K to make (in about a week) and grossed $250 million.

Well considering that there are cult followings surrounding film trailers and theatrical trailers and trailers for novels and so on.. maybe you are just too old to realize their effect on terrible films that profit and amazing films that don't receive global distribution.

I generally dislike misrepresentation (eg. book covers) but am all for tinfoil hats.

I have a tinfoil fedora for summer and a tinfoil toque for winter but since the implant, I don't need them anymore.
