There is no evidence of it being illegal. Evidence perhaps that the guy thought it was something it wasn't.. but no evidence they did their job wrong.. And again I will stress... cameras in cars and remote mikes on all cops at all times... the guy would have plead guilty at the start of the trial..hell cameras on cops too..

The defense is putting forth that scenario. Of coarse the Crown will lay charges and prosecute, but that means nothing.
I know you blindly believe that the cops are perfect and do absolutely nothing wrong....ever....but some of don't share your appetite for that cool-aide.
My afterthought... in many cases, I'd believe that drug dealer over the cops. That's sad, but they are the ones that have earned that attitude.

That is where you are as wrong as your assumption that a drug dealer is a fine up standing member of socieity and his word is better then a cop .
I believe police before street crap not to say they can't be wrong but I refuse to side on the criminal side till proven they are right . Un like you I have no axe to grind with the police .

Your not living in the real world Jim.
Our police force is corrupt and people like you allow them to continue to be so by blindly defending them.
Of course, not all cops are corrupt, but enough of them are to have me question all of them. You see, I can't tell which are which, so when it come to accepting what they say as the gospel truth....forgetaboutit bigfcukintime!!!

The guy has had that happen to him in the past, as have many drug dealers, so it's not out of the relm of the possible.

I don't know what to believe. I was not there. The police say one thing. The perp says something else. This is the thing about trust see. If I had 100% trust in the police in their words and actions I would absolutely give them the benefit of the doubt.

The Crown argued that Anderson's testimony seemed "rehearsed" and that he glossed over his options on that night, including calling 911, looking to see who was in his home or even fleeing.
Hmmmm. I wonder how the Harvey-Zenk witnesses sounded? Rehearsed maybe? What hypocrisy.
