So...just waxing nostalgia here.
I was reading the thread about the porn game for the Kinect...and thought what games would be cool with the Kinect (not porn).
I remembered this game:

I contributed quite heavily to their early success. Played it for HOURS.
But...with the advent of 3D becoming so popular...the only real area to explore would be the holographic (even simulated like this game).
Tie that in with a good motion controller, and you could have simulated fight scenes & combat, with the user actually required to do the moves directly.
For a good holographic interface, it might be required to have a special room designed for it...but it could be a new future for arcades.
