gordon sinclair: hypocrite

sinclair rails against tabloids for saying: "Hands off, dirtbags!" Yet he uses the very same "tab" tactic in his own headline: "'Dirtbag' squeegee guy says he's doing valuable job"

I thought the article was one very well, and will think again when these annoying people try and earn some money. I just might sli them a $10 bill.

and now Mr Sinclair is taking a tragedy and turning it into race relations.

It's best to not read the useless blather that Sinclair writes about. I make a point of flipping the page. The Freep should be charged with an environmental crime for even printing him.

I actually read the Free Press less often now. I've stopped home delivery entirely and only read the Saturday paper when I pick one up.

Ditto the Sun. Almost never pick one up and only read it on line.

Today he writes about Jack Matheson, He called his wife and was told that the funeral was a private ceremony for close friends and family. Next sentance he writes that she told him the address.
I guess he wanted to make sure we all know he was a close friend of Jack Matheson.
I can't stand reading his columns yet I do, so whats wrong with me??!

Isn't he sickening? The way he wraps up up his useless drivel at the end with some kind of cute statement that he thinks perfectly captures the essence of whatever insider/personal story that he's so generously sharing with readers. He must really think highly of himself but he should know by now that people are nauseated with his style. It's great to see the former power of print media being hammered by more pointed reporting whether it be blogs even. People are thirsty for real stuff and not the sanitized news or the fluff that self-important old-media peckers like Sinclair.

And I get you on the - can't stand him yet read itanyway bit. I usually make a point of flipping but sometimes I'm driven to see how annoying he still is. I hope he reads these blogs - or better yet - his editor.

All that matters is papers being sold

I find most of his columns to be drivel, much like Lindor Reynolds.

That being said, man would I love his job.

Wake up. Write some stuff. Eat. Sleep. Rinse and repeat.

I understand readership at the free press is dropping.

Reading Sinclair usually just makes me angry and bitter, so I try to avoid it. Ditto Francis Russel. I am a better human being when I avoid their columns.

Francis Russell is the Liberal equiv. of the Orange Rod Blog, Brian Oakley, or Glen Beck - nothing but a party spew machine.

I always laugh at the irony - Free Press is a major sponsor of Raise a Reader; yet one of their most promoted columnists ( Sinclair) writes with sentence structure and grammar that would fail a second grade English test.
