Dissenting scientists regarding global warming is ridiculous! Everyone knows that the globe is warming, and has been for over 120,000 years!

What ever the cause it is happening and it will change the world more then you know .

I am so glad that we have been getting a warmer globe. It is -27 right now and if we didn't have global warming it would be -27.1!!

Yes and more ice in the Artic has not frozen over for 2 or more years so the older ice is dissapearing . Meaning that the ice may be gone in 10 years. A fact there is no disputing.

apparently the earth is spinning slower too.

The important thing to remember is waay back then, when GOM, J2F and I were young, there were dinosaurs eating trees, leaves that grew in a very moderate climate, which tells scientists and others that it was a lot warmer back then, and what is happening today is nothing new!

What is new is that some scientists are predicting things that MAY be happening, based on supposition, and they are blaming it on WalMart , black topped parking lots, that are absorbing the sun's rays and causing readings of average global temperature to increase,
Global warming is a natural, fluctuation, and what some scientists are saying is based on our best guess it is warming up or MIGHT be warming up at a highr rate! And of course there are thousands of scientists who hve criticized those estimats as flawed!
So pick what you want to believe, but don't you dare spend any money on trying to control the world's "temperature" before you have solved the "poor" problem, the education problem, the infrastructure problem, etc etc etc.
Use some common sense! Make a list of priorities and work towards them!
By all means, get houses better insulated, re-cycle , re-use, stop the waste, more efficient use of existing green systems! All of those are just common sense!
In Manitoba 95% of our electricity comes from renewable hydro power!

Just a few millimeters more water in the oceans means billions and billions of kilograms more weight on the oceanic plates under water. This alone is already changing the global earthquake sismic situation for worse.

The sismic situation scares the bejesus outta me.

Note is it is a sismic event. Seismic sure. Crazy glue solved seismic events years ago. But not the nefarious sismic events.

Last month they were showing where some Islands in the south Pacific are slowly going under . One will be completly under next year. Think it was on National Geographic.

yeah.. a whole country (of Islands) is soon to be displaced.. one of several "enviromental refugees" problems that will be happening

So there are over 650 scientists and people who claim to know lots, who do not agree with Al Gpre! Has our government bothered to stop wasting money on reports until the year 2100 to check things out!

Did you knowthat 90 million years ago, give or take 2 hours, that there were turtles living in the high arctic?
And to survive, the temperature had to be above +14 C on an average, and that there were tropical plants for the dinosaurs.
If you accept those truths, then it would follow that the Earth's temperature was a lot warmer than it is now, and that is way before any one worried about C02 emissions, actually before GOM and J2F were posting comments.
Any one use some common sense to get through to all those people that agree for our government to spend billions of dollars to control global change?
