Quite sad indeed...

That breaks my heart. I cannot imagine how I would cope if this were my child. It is worse than having to deal with funeral arrangements and staggering grief: now you have to sit and wait and see if he ever resurfaces. Prolonging the hell...

they always resurface. you dont want to know what shape the body is in after 3 months waiting though. Trust me

Where does the river empty into? In a lot of places in BC the bodies don't end up surfacing, because they get hung up on a log, and ground to bits by the boulders, rocks, floatsom and animals. Or, they're found floating in the ocean, off of islands 100's of miles away from where they went in.

I can imagine what a floater looks like and smells like after only a few days.

Very sad.

river eventually makes it to Lake Winnipeg. But there are so many twists and turns and its such a slow river he will likely be found within 1 to 2 miles. Then again the ice breakup in the spring may well carry him all the way out.

damn this is going to be a hard winter to take.

I don't want to be the one who finds him either. Especially not in the spring.

Similar thing happened to Michel Trudeau in 1998. The body was never found in Kokanee Lake.
