I never know which team will show up. Jekyll or Hyde.

Even after a 4-10 record I still believe this is a good team. Did they learn anything from the Miracle on Maroons Road?

Montreal is a very good team. It would take yet another miracle for the Bombers to win. Is keeping it respectful the same? Nope, so the Bombers WILL win this afternoon.

Kick-off in 15 minutes...

Heavy sigh...

Can't win for losing. The Bombers could not do anything on offense from the second quarter until late in the fourth quarter. Montreal almost gave it to the Bombers near the end there.

The only way for Winnipeg to make the playoffs now, is to crossover to the West.
In their last 3 games, they need to have 2 more wins than both BC and Edmonton to crossover to the West.

Games Left:
EDM 10 pts - vs SASK, vs WPG, at SASK
BC 10 pts - at CAL, vs SASK, at HAM
Wpg 8 pts - vs TOR, at EDM, vs CAL

I can't fathom a 4-11 team even being in a play-off race. I can't imagine what that'll do to the image of the CFL.

You have to admit though, for a losing team, they sure present some exciting football.?

You're right there. Ol' baldy could not motivate his players and they did not play for him. Winnipeg is 2-4 players short of being a great team. Next year they'll gel and have a stellar season.

That's my prediction anywho...

I can't wait for next season already.

I say that in the sense that this group is so very close to gelling and becoming a team that can and likely will beat any in the league. Yeah, we've lost a ton of games this year, but we've hung in there with Montreal and Calgary... the league leaders in ours games with them within 6 points or under. There's a couple of players that likely shouldn't be here next year ( calling Brock Ralph..please report to J.R. Airport!! ) and maybe the odd assistant coaching position, but we'll be much better next year.

i thought the play in the 1st half where winnipeg got faked on the kick...THAT was telling of the bomber's defense...

they may be holding...but they aren't STOPPING, and the fact that Montreal came in and gained over a yard on a fake for a 1st down...that was pretty bad.

The Bombers also made some bad plays and did stupid penalties...
All in all, Montreal just hung on and played a simple game of football... and won.
