CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISER - PARTY ALL SATURDAY NIGHT LONG


October 9th at Tijuana Yacht Club (1405 St. Matthews Canad Inns)

Steak dinner served at 6:00pm

Cash prizes throughout the night til 9:00pm

Tickets only $15 each (Includes dinner, dessert, and a drink)

Bring your dancing shoes and 'throw it down' til 2am.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE - Rav will proudly make a donation to The Manitoba Lung Association from a percentage of all funds raised.

you know what.. I am not sure. I have not been to one of these at TYC before, but from the TYC website it indicates 6 ounces

It's a steak sandwich about 4-5 oz. (that is mass produced and looks more like shoe leather than anything else) on top of a piece of dry rye bread, served with a baked potato. And at extra cost, you can have mushrooms and/or ceasar salad on the side as well. When we go I usually donate my steak sandwich to someone else in exchange for the mushrooms and salad. That way we are only paying for 1 set of extras. I have been to numerous one both at TYC, Silverado's and Tavern at Garden City, all the same.

I've been thinking about what Rav Gill's chances really are. I've recommended to a dozen people to vote for Gill. The idea being that Katz will win - however the best message to deliver is that win being by a lot fewer votes than the previous election. Also, I simply can't recommend somebody vote for Judy - that would deliver the wrong message (she getting any votes at all). So the fall-back position is Gill.

Now here's what I'm thinking - if masses happen to be viewing things the way I am - there's a chance for a remarkable upset. Gill needs to get into the public in a very positive way over the next 28 days - his chances could get real.

Dean I'm sorry to report that we won't be coming now. We had a very sad event on the weekend in which our neighbour (the wife/mother) died suddenly and we're now caring for their 1 yr old for a few weeks. Have a great time and best of luck to Rav.

i think it would go down as an upset of all upsets. kinda cool actually.

but alas, i think that last poll was very skewed. i think sam katz has quite the lead over jwl.

yeah..I would like to see their polling data.. ie what area were the results from.

plus like many peeps have pointed out the cell phone owners are being left out.

I know when we were called it was the middle of the day.

That alone would skew the results slightly.
