family and I tried decided to try and go to kildonan park because its greatly expanded and has a spray pad, lots of on grass seating and such. The line up to get into the packed pool was about 30 people long so we decided to just come home. Sat in the kiddie pool with my 3 year old for a while... yes on the front lawn... yes drinking.. why do you ask?


heh. Kildonand park pool expansion looks like it is awesome. Good spending of tax payer dollars if it is that busy.


Apparently birdhill park was packed yesterday too. with some pics from the sun

We took the kids to see an advance screening of Cats & Dogs at Silvercity Saturday morning...they liked it and it was in 3D which was cool. The rest of the weekend we sat outside while the kids played in the pool....and yes we drank a few cold beers. Smile

I think this might have been our best weekend so far this summer weatherwise. Nice and hot.. but low humidity so the heat was actually enjoyable. Gonna be a fantastic week, wish I was on vacation.. or rich from winning the lottery

Hung out at the cabin.....read a great book and drank Sol......will be going back out before the weekend. The only vexatious thing was finding the wasp nest under the kayak....chemical warfare was employed, four stings received.....hahahaha. More beers consumed to ease pain.

I do believe burning fibreglass is far worse and besides, it is a nice one....hahahaha.....but yes, when the going gets tough an ice cold Sol does the trick beautifully....I am so stoked about the weather this week!!!

Golfed Friday at Kildonan. Broke 90. Entertained neices and nephew with a movie at home.
Saw movie "Salt" Saturday. Wish I could get those two hours of my life back. Strung CAT V cable in the basement up to the Sony PS3 and my WD Live box, and to the router.
Chilled Sunday, ie. washed car & clothes, made lunch for the week.

It wasn't that bad.

Got there around 1pm and got a good spot on the West Beach and there were lots of parking spots.

What made it seem busy was the fact that the water was pretty high.

I have definitely seen far busier days there.
