What are your plans for the long weekend? I had some plans to do some hiking but now the weather has been changed to include rain on Saturday and 60% chance on Sunday. I want to try and finish the gardening this weekend (weather permitting). Looks like Friday night will be the night to sit outside and have a few beers. I hope everyone has a safe and happy long weekend!

I think I'll go cycling and assert my rights to the roads and sidewalks of south Winnipeg. And get some healthy exercise too.

No not surprised but was hopeful, at the beginning of the week, when they were calling for +30 and sunshine.

Regardless of the weather I will be out in the Whiteshell......already have the garden done and my supplies together for an extended work vacation......no tv and no other distractions make for excellent word output.

Gardening weekend...vegetable garden needs to be installed, and the flower beds need to be fully populated.

If the weather holds, then a coat of paint applied on the fence.

I'm golfing two rounds tomorrow. I'm excited about finally having a HDTV (plasma) and Shaw is connecting it to HD tv service on Saturday. Concert Sunday, maybe. I think the Lost finale is two hours on Sunday, with a 2-hour recap preceeding it.

It's a 4-day long-weekend for moi!

2 grandsons , one daughter, the son-in-law flew back to Alberta this A.M., and the house and the back yard and the gazeebo, are full of great sounds. "Baba, Zaida, and the kids go on and on and on, making me so depressed, because I cannot keep up with them, lol

Next year I will have my back fixed, and will be 70 pounds lighter, so I will be able to keep up! lol
