I find Dim Sum Garden (on Rupert) is just as good, a little behind on the decor, but they have a happy hour from 2 to 5 where all dishes are 2.25Goth_chic wrote:Welcome to Winnipeg Kelly.
If you like Dim Sum then you must try Kum Koon Garden on King St.

Was pretty tasty.. not to salty, not completely slathered in sauce like more food court chinese food and a nice environment. Was it outstanding? No not really. but it was a cut above the rest for sure. Is it the best? No idea.

I moved downtown, near the University of Winnipeg. I moved here for school and so far I like it. Being so close to school is awesome.
It's really different and I'm a bit nervous about winter, lol, but I'm sure it'll be great.
KellyH, I'm curious, why are you nervous about winter? Its cold, its white and its great. Its basically followed the same pattern for years.
I'm used to coastal winters, where it rains mostly. I'm not used to a lot of snow.

I doubt I will eat anything that comes from China. Don't want to get kidney stones.EdWin wrote:Where can the BEST Chinese food be found?
