LOL actually buddy its called a schedule. They have to keep it, if they stopped to talk to everyone who wanted to talk to them they would not be able to keep the schedule.

The torch run is not the place to protest the missing people, but I reckon that the chiefs have to do something that will keep their names out there to justify their exorbitant salaries.

Why would the protesters (missing aboriginals) expect the torch relay runners to stop and talk? No common sense at all. The protesters got their well deserved message out! Be satisfied with that!
The runners are on a deadline, and the Torch relay has nothing to do with the protesters.
I don't see any complaint valid at all! The aboriginals are going to follow the Torch? lol

We will NOT intefer with any other community's celebrations... its nice to see that they are keeping their word eh?

So now what, are they going to organize a protest to protest the fact that their protest was ignored?? Its a lot easier to protest when your job doesn't get in the way.

Interesting thing this morning as I was driving to work down Erin between St Mathews and Portage. At the Irish Community facility there was a group from Fisher River First Nation there with a banner. Not a large group about 5-8 people so I wonder if they were there as "protesters" or just wanting the Relay team to know that they support them. What I found funny was the location they chose to set up at.
Anyway it was very cool to actually see the Torch as it made it way down Portage Ave this morning. Good on all of the people who were chosen to make the 300 metre run/walk/wheel, what an honour. And kind of cool that "Eddy the Eagle" had to run the torch from Minto Armouries to Erin Street in this weather (no pun intended).
